You know there's something building when an email lands in your inbox about an event based entirely around the "Fresh is Best" message as you're writing an article about the "Fresh is Best" message.
The event in question is a Fresh As IPA blind tasting at Exit's Uitgang Bar in Richmond.
It's described as a "fresh as fuck" IPA event where they'll be pouring eight different IPAs from eight different breweries, none of which are older than two weeks.
Pouring will be IPAs from:
- Exit
- KAIJU!
- Pirate Life
- Hop Nation
- 3 Ravens
- Fixation
- Wolf of the Willows
- Bad Shepherd
some of which will be just one and two days out of the tank.
It's a ticketed event, with $30 getting you tastings of all eight beers. Guess which beer is on which tap and you get a free pot.
There's also a prize of a $100 bar tab and several merch prizes too, with beers revealed at 6pm. Anyone with a ticket can then drink any of the IPAs for the rest of the night for just $5/$7/$9 pot/schooner/pint.
