With Adelaide set to host both the Independent Brewers Association conference and the Whisky and Spirits conference within a few weeks of each other, the crew at NOLA figured they ought to draw on the best of both to create a single event. Thus, their boilermaker session was born.
It will be hosted by Melbourne brewery Stomping Ground, its head brewer, Ashur Hall, and booze whizz Cassie O'Neill, who’ll be in the venue for a chat.
There's five suggested boilermakers on offer plus a few morsels of food to sink your teeth into. One of the beers, the Manhattan Red Ale, has been created for this event: a collaboration with the NOLA team based on their idea of a perfect boilermaker beer.
There are eight Stomping Ground beers flowing from the taps during the takeover too, and Ashur and Cassie will be shouting a few beers too.
It's a casual event with three boilermakers of your choice costing $32.
