If you're one of the many to have complained about the traditionally ordinary beer offerings at the bars of major stadiums, here's something that might give you cause for optimism.
On the occasion of the 2017 AFL Grand Final, Stone & Wood will be hosting a three course meal at the recently renovated Queensland Cricket Club, located inside the grandstand at the Gabba. Of course, the match isn't happening at the ground – as per tradition it'll be at the MCG in Melbourne – but they'll be showing it live on the venues many screens.
The lunch, which starts with canapés before moving into three courses specially designed by the chefs to pair with the beer, will begin at midday and is being hosted by the Stone & Wood crew.
