The Oak Barrel has long had one of the best selections of craft beer in Sydney and one of the better tasting rooms too. So when you put the former in the latter, you're bound to have yourself a good and/or interesting time.
After the August event was such a success, in October they're hosting another event aimed at those who are new to beer or want to build a bit on some basic knowledge.
It will be, in essence, a beer appreciation session where you'll get to try seven different beers across seven different styles and find out why they taste like they do, learn some of the lingo and drink some delicious beers. it'll be an informal event – with a big focus on fun – featuring the following styles:
- Lagers
- Pale Ales
- IPAs
- Sours
- Stouts
- Tripels / Dubbels
- ...plus one mystery pick
