To kick off the long weekend, inner north Melbourne mates The Dan O'Connell and Moon Dog are joining forces to help find a home for strays.
Sure, some of them will merely be people looking to enjoy good beer over the course of three day weekend – it's more the four legged strays that both businesses had in mind.
To help out with the latter, The Dan is hosting a good old fashioned tap takeover featuring Moon Dog's beers, with $1 of each pint sold during the weekend going to the Lost Dogs' Home.
From 5pm on the Thursday, the pub has also added hotdogs to its menu which you can tuck into all weekend. Well, at least until those strays have eaten them all.
