For the next in their monthly Saturday arvo beer tasting sessions hosted by next level beer master Miro Bellini (pictured), the Gertrude Hotel plans to showcase pale ales.
That said, with it being Miro at the helm, don't expect the five beers that your $20 will get you to be five essentially simlar pales.
No sirree, the Maltalian, fresh from an inspirational tour of the States, plans to take guests on a "more evolutionary journey of the pale ale from ESBs to Aussie Pales through to APAs and IPAs."
We're not sure what the five beers will be but the likes of Mountain Goat, Victory and Panhead will be on tap so he's plenty to pick from.
It all kicks off from 3.30pm.
