Little Brewing Fastidious Bastard IPA launch at The Welcome Hotel

They sure are a bunch of fastidious bastards up at Port Macquarie's Little Brewing Company. As such, they make some pretty terrific beer across a wide range of styles, from Pilsners and Pales to Belgian Dubbel, Tripel and Quadruples and a recent run of double IPAs.

So news of another new release of the hoppy variety is welcome news. Literally.

On 26th November they'll be launching the Fastidious Bastard IPA at Rozelle's Welcome Hotel which will be the exclusive tapping of this beer, a 6.8 per cent, 75 IBU beast. We'll turn it over to the official beer description to give you a clue as to what this beer will be like...

"Our head brewer's a fastidious bastard. So are the rest of our brewers. If you're not a fastidious bastard you don't get the gig, and we are particularly fastidious when it comes to our India Pale Ales. "Fastidious Bastard IPA" pays homage to the very hoppy and bitter India Pale Ales in the American West Coast style. Hoppy aromas and flavours of pine, citrus, spice and resin entice the senses, before a long bitter finish."

Following the launch, you'll be able to find the beer on tap at The Grain Store and The Hop Factory in Newcastle and King Bill IV in Maitland. A bottled release is, they tell us, imminent.
