One of the more unusual – and agricultural – events of the Aussie beer calendar rolls around again in March as Red Hill invite friends and guests to assist with their annual hop harvest.
They grow a few rows of bines on their Mornington Peninsula farm that are used in their beers and, each year, turn their picking into a fun day out.
This year's picking kicks off at 10am on March 6.
Anyone wishing to take part is advised: Bring a chair and hat. Wear old clothes with long sleeves. No RSVP needed."
There will be coffee and tea on arrival and beer is included too.
Lunch is available at regular prices.
They'll also celebrating their tenth birthday in April as well as brewing their 1000th brew soon. Watch this space for details...
