The force is with Holgate Brewhouse for a third year running as they prepare to launch their Millennium Falcon into hyperspace once more on Star Wars day.
The beer was originally brewed in 2013 for their 1000th brew and took the play on the name to the nth degree by using Millennium, Falconer's Flight and Galaxy hops to create a high IBU, high ABV beer.
It returned last year a much more aromatic beast and this year looks set to step things up again.
On top of the usual three hops, they've added a few more fruity varieties – Mosaic, El Dorado, Mandarina Bavaria and Citra – to create a 100 IBU (International Bitterness Units, of which 100 is damn high), very pale "Empirial IPA".
We're yet to taste, but are told to expect "a super-fruity confectionary cocktail of juicy pineapple, tart citrus, stone fruit, boiled lollies and bubblegum" and a "bold, evergreen hop bitterness".
The beer will be launched at the Woodend brewery bar on May 4. Fans can [buy tickets here](http://www.holgatebrewhouse.com/index.php/componen...), which entitles you to six 500ml bottles of the beer, a free pot at the bar and puts you into a prize draw for a night for two at the hotel.
