Having recently hosted a Taste & Talk featuring the tale of Hawkers, the beery cultural feast continues at Victoria's Immigration Museum as they celebrate Oktoberfest in their own way.
As part of the North South Feast West series, they're inviting people with a wealth of knowledge of German beers along to tell you what they're all about. Geert Hendrix from Heron Tower Beverages alongside Gerhad Patzold and Greg McElherron from Beach Avenue Wholesalers will thus be sharing everything they know, along with samples of the following half dozen beers:
- Benedictine Dark
- Benedictine Wheat
- Fruh Kolsch
- Altenmunster
- Erdinger Oktoberfest
- Jever Pilsner
You'll be accompanied by German snacks, music, more beer and be free to wander the Immigration Museum at your leisure.
It's happening between 2:30pm and 4:30pm on Sunday October 4. Tickets are $50 and can be booked here.
