Two small breweries to have made big waves in the past year, particularly with regard to their hoppy beers, are Sydney's Modus Operandi and South Australia's Pirate Life.
For one evening, the two will be coming together for a collaborative tap takeover at the 33 Degrees Bar inside Manly's New Brighton Hotel.
They'll be sharing eight taps of their well-regarded brews and the respective brewers will be along to talk you through what they do. The bar will be pulling out the tasting paddles so you get a chance to try everything.
Being a Sunday, it'll be a fairly leisurely affair with proceedings gently getting underway from about 2pm so get along and find a place on one of the balconies and sip your afternoon away.
