When the team behind the two Local Taphouses start thinking internationally, it usually ends up with one of their famous SpecTAPulars which sees every tap turned over to beer from a certain country or region. But for their forthcoming Japanese Showcase at the Darlinghurst Taphouse, things are a little different.
There will, of course, be Japanese beer – in this case from the likes of Hitachino, COEDO and Baird Beer – but that'll be accompanied by a sake bar, a food menu that will see the regular menu fused with a Japanese and a selection of Japanese cocktails.
Things kick off at midday and will go until late (or until kegs/bottles run out).
Fancy dress is encouraged.
