Celtic Tap Takeover at The Quarryman’s

With Australia Day done and Waitangi Day out of the way, the celebration of nations and their related beer scene shifts to the other side of the world where the Welsh are setting up to honour their patron saint on St David’s Day.

For a full week, the Quarryman’s Hotel will be doing the same by way of pouring a range of beer from Celtic or Celtic-inspired brewers. That will include the likes of the Tiny Rebel Brewing Co. from Wales, BrewDog from Scotland and the Irish-inspired Moylans from the USA.

The kitchen will be serving up accompanying traditional Celtic food specials throughout the week and the venue’s Welsh manager is busy preparing for impromptu renditions of Hen Wlad Fy Nhadau for your listening pleasure.

It’s happening between March 1–7 so get down there any time.
