The colour and the shape that is Sydney Craft Beer Week returns in October 2016 with its widest collection of events yet. The program for the week-and-a-bit long festival has just been announced and it’s another belter that’ll prove hard to plan your week around.
Whether you want to spend an afternoon axe throwing or ambling along the greens on a beery golf day, chucking down beamers at back yard cricket or sinking tinnies at a table tennis tournament, tackling a mountain bike trail during the day or taking in a movie at night, the week seems set to offer something for everyone.
There will of course be brewers abound across the festival to lead events showing off brand new brews, one-off releases and international collaborations as well as lending their expertise to all manner of food-based events, from those with a global flavour to the simplest of heart-starting brewery breakfasts.
The enduringly popular tap takeovers will be a big feature across the festival and, for the first time, The Crafty Pint is making the trip north and will be packing PoO. Pint Of Origin is coming to Sydney with six awesome venues showcasing six states (and a territory) of Aussie beer all week long. Look out for beers not seen in the city before, as well as PoO comps and free stuff for Crafty Cabal members.
