Brewing beer commercially has never been on the Crafty Pint agenda.
OK, so a perfect score for the Auld Bulgin' Boysterous Bicep at a past Beervana Media Brew comp meant we were able to persuade Murray's to let us brew that smoked imperial Belgian mussel and oyster stout commercially a couple of times. But, aside from a single keg with Moon Dog to mark the launch of 150 Great Australian Beers, since then we've left it to the pros.
That said, ever since Jade and co built their brewery at legendary Adelaide pub The Wheaty, there's been talk of a collab brew. And now it's happening.
On Friday, July 8, we'll be spending the day at their Thebarton brewery and we're inviting three members of our Crafty Cabal to join us on the day to brew a beer, hang out and enjoy some beers later on in the day.
You'll then be invited back to the beer's launch – which will be the official SA Cabal launch party too – along with mates.
Existing Cabalistas can register via their member's area now (and also enter the ballot to win a share of $750 worth of tickets for the Adelaide Beer & BBQ Festival taking place later that weekend).
