What better way to warm up for the 2016 Perth Royal Beer Show than by sinking pints of six of last year's Champion beers?
Held at the Queens Hotel, the awards organisers – Royal Agricultural Society of WA – have pooled together the following gold medal winners for your enjoyment:
- Homestead – Black Swan Black IPA
- Eagle Bay – Pale Ale
- The Old Brewery – Tomahawk Barleywine
- Billabong Brewery – Wheat
- Gage Roads – Pils 3.5
- 3 Ravens – Dark
There'll be discounts on pints, though there'll only be one keg of each beer so you'd best get in promptly if there's one you want to be sure of trying. Along with the beer they'll be serving up some suitably fine food as accompaniments.
It kicks off at 6pm.
