Once upon a couple of years ago it was relatively easy to come upon a handful of beers from the Land of the Rising Sun. Supply, however, has dried up a bit of late so when someone is able to get their hands on some of the old Japanese favourites, it's more than worth a look.
The place to look, specifically, is Bitter Phew which has snaffled a handful of kegs from the Kiuchi Brewery, producer of the fine Hitachino beers, and Coedo:
