It's fair to say there'll be a lot of Oktoberfest celebrations happening across Australia this year but it's also fair to say few will have as many runs on the board as the one held at Bridge Road.
2016 marks the Beechworth brewery's twelfth Oktoberfest where they make a literal song and dance about all things München.
Held over two days – October 8 and 9 – the festival will feature Oompah music, traditional outfits, German food and the essential Märzen. To ensure they're doing it right, Bridge Road's Märzen is brewed a few months before the event so that it has enough time to lager properly.
Your ticket into the event gets you a branded stein – either one or half litre – and your first fill of beer, plus some food. (If you've got a Bridge Road stein from a previous year, you can bring that one along and grab a BYO ticket instead).
This is a guaranteed sell-out event so you'll want to book early to avoid disappointment (and if you're coming from out of town, best look at that accommodation too...).
