The latest brewing company to join the ranks of Sydney's blossoming inner west beer scene is all set to pour.
Sauce Brewing is currently producing gypsy-style but already has a large Marrickville warehouse in which to put a brewhouse, tap room, beer garden, packaging line and everything else required to make a big mark in the local beer world.
If you fancy saying that you were there on day one, get along to the Dove & Olive on Friday November 11 when they crack open a few kegs of Sauce for the first time. Founder Mike Clarke will be along dispensing a few freebies of his launch beers; a pale ale, a double IPA and another based on a poll competition he ran a few weeks back and which will only be revealed on the night.
The D&O will be serving up canapés to pair with the beers and there'll be prizes to be given away too. Things kick off in earnest from about 6pm and you can imagine will go for a good while into the evening.
