Every so often the crew at the Flat Rock Brew Cafe invites an outside expert in to come in and host an event where they can wax lyrical about their always delicious field of interest, whether it be chocolate or cheese. The only proviso is that they pair everything with beer.
To finish off the year they're getting frisky with whisky, inviting in David Ligoff from World of Whisky who will be pairing five of his selections with five beers chosen by Karl and the Flat Rock team.
These are small events, usually only around a dozen people, so you get a good chance to pick the brains of those in the know, learning about the magic of grains, get a tour of the brewery and all done with several glasses of fine drink in your hand.
