Last year, for Australia Day, The Quarryman’s Hotel put a twist of the nation’s obsession with barbecued food and paired it with an IPA from each state. It was, in a nutshell, a six state IPA meat-up. And it went down well, so they’re doing it again in 2017.
From midday on January 26 they kitchen will begin dispensing various meats done by way of barbecue, roast, grill or fry and matching them with IPAs from the following breweries:
- Exit Brewing (VIC)
- Pirate Life (SA)
- Moo Brew (TAS)
- Young Henrys (NSW)
- Newstead (QLD)
- Feral (WA)
You can make a booking if you wish, but there are no tickets required and no entry fee so just turn up when you’re hungry and thirsty. And if you don’t like IPAs, there’s more than 20 other taps of local beer to pick from.
