If you missed GABS in Melbourne you'd have also missed out on Garage Project's Silk Road series of beers in which they created six new festival beers, each one representing a different stop on the ancient Silk Road.
The good thing is that you don't have to miss out completely as The Local Taphouse in St Kilda has snaffled all six of them and they'll be tapping them all this Saturday.
- DIPK - Double India Pale Kolsch (Europe)
- Bhang Thandai – Spiced Milk Stout (India)
- Qishir – Cascara & Cinnamon Bock (Middle East)
- Es Buah – Javanese Fruit Cocktail Sour (Java)
- Oumou – Ginger Pineapple Pilsner (Africa)
- Tie Guan Yin – Green Tea & Jasmin Lager (China)
The beers will be tapped at midday.
