Ale Stars at The Local Taphouse Darlo (NSW) - Turning Japanese

Australia’s most popular monthly beer appreciation night, Ale Stars brings together beer lovers, quality beers, guest speakers and prizes in what must be one of the most entertaining ways to learn about everyone’s favourite drink.
With a theme for each evening: sometimes a style of beer, sometimes a brewery showcase featuring the brewing team from that brewery – Ale Stars often serves up beer never before seen on tap in Australia. There’s a quiz, food, laughter, debate among drinkers of both sexes and all ages.
This time around, the Taphouse is turning Japanese with beers from the Land of the Rising Sun on the lineup. They are:
Hitachino Nest Teikoku IPA
Hitachino Nest Espresso Stout
Baird Carpenter’s Mikan Ale
Baird Angry Boy Brown Ale
The night gets underway from about 7pm and everyone is welcome.
Entry costs $35 for all your beer samples and can be booked via the bar’s website. All are welcome and memberships are available.
