Beer & Chocolate Pairing at Mámor Chocolates & High Tea Szalón

One of the more esoteric events at this year’s Good Beer Week was the Intimate Beer & Chocolate Pairing at Mámor Chocolates & High Tea Szalón in Collingwood.

The sessions saw guests indulge in some fine chocolates alongside beers from some of Victoria’s top breweries while also learning how to make a beer chocolate.

They proved so popular that the Mámor team has decided to make them a monthly affair on the last Friday of every month.

Chocdiva Dr Hanna and her partner Dr Howard lead these sessions alongside occasional guest brewers in their baroque European Tasting Szalón rated by The Australian and The Sunday Age as a top secret destination in Victoria.

Guests are served six tasting glasses (three bottles total per person) of selected beers to match twelve different chocolates truffles (and palette-cleansing and alcohol-absorbing Hungarian potato scones). They also receive a special Tasting Card to record their impressions.
