The Crafty Planner: November 19 to 25

It’s all eyes on Newcastle this week as the city’s second Craft Beer Week takes over the town. Like Good Beer Week’s first adventure in 2011, Newcastle’s first festival last week arrived all guns blazing, led by the men behind the and Warners at the Bay.

This year, they kicked off with the launch of a collaborative beer, 1942, brewed especially for the occasion by local brewers Hunter and Murray’s and have events running throughout the city until it draws to a close with the Warner’s At The Bay Bottleshop on Sunday.

Elsewhere across the country, there are chances to meet brewers, sample beers from overseas and get inside beer. It all ends with another big party as the Tasmanian International Beerfest rolls into Hobart.

If you like the sound of anything below, head to the Events Diary for full details. And if you’ve an event that should be here or in the Diary, please email details to events@craftypint.com.
