Hargreaves Hill in the Yarra Valley produces one of the finest ranges of beer in Australia, a range that's been evolving to include barrel-aged beers and sours. 

They're currently looking to fill two roles: sales rep / manager and communications / events coordinator.

JOB DESCRIPTION 1 – SALES REP / MANAGER

Hargreaves Hill Brewing Co is a family owned and operated craft brewery, based in the Yarra Valley.

We are looking for an experienced Sales Representative / Manager to maintain and build our customer base in and around Melbourne. You will be working with our existing customers, building great relationships and giving great service.

You must be:

  • Passionate and knowledgeable about beer.
  • Know your way around Melbourne’s great bars, pubs and restaurants.
  • Charismatic, a good communicator, highly organised and efficient.
  • Ready, willing and able to organise tastings, run festivals and other events.
  • Ability to coordinate & organise tastings, events and festivals.

Creative, and ready to implement your ideas to help us grow our brand and presence

This is a full time role, with an attractive package (with all the trade tools) to be negotiated based on experience and suitability for the role.

You will need a current Victorian driver’s license, and a good driving record, as well as having completed your RSA.

JOB DESCRIPTION 2 – COMMUNICATIONS & EVENTS COORDINATOR

Hargreaves Hill Brewing Co is looking for a dynamic, creative and resourceful type to join our small team. Your job will be varied, with never a dull moment. From writing media releases for seasonal beers, to organising the next great event to come off without a hitch.

You will to need to be:

  • Well organised, with outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Great attention to detail and grammar.
  • Awesome with various social media applications. Proficiency with Adobe Illustrator preferred, but not essential.
  • Well acquainted with the craft beer scene.
  • Experienced with managing events of all types – tastings, festivals, dinners etc.
  • Flexible with work hours – some weekend and evening work will be required.

This is a two to three day casual or permanent part time role (minimum) commencing in March.
