Looking for a change of lifestyle? A privately owned enterprise within Tasmania's burgeoning drinks industry is looking for someone after career, not a job, within their production facility just 10km from the heart of Hobart.

If that sounds like your dream next move, here's what you need to know.

JOB DESCRIPTION: PRODUCTION OPERATIONS – Filling, Packaging & Labelling

  • Inspiring career environment – just 10km from the heart of Hobart
  • Outstanding combination of role, company, facility and location
  • Family friendly flexible workplace – love your lifestyle and your work

You have thought about moving before and may even have even browsed for suitable opportunities in large regional cities, or the smaller capitals... but how many times have you found a genuinely exciting opportunity in those searches? And then there is a cost to move as well, right.

This opportunity will solve those issues.

Hobart offers the lowest living cost of all Australia’s capital cities, delivers better lifestyle options and we will give you a terrific career opportunity and fund your relocation. Excited?

Who are you?

You need to bring genuine depth of experience in liquid fill (preferably beverage) production operations – filling and packaging, with some labelling would be ideal. This is not a Fitters role, rather it is mostly operating bottling lines, but the calibre of the successful person will include some technical and line-set capabilities.

You also need to have a terrific attitude to immerse yourself in an environment where those around you are inspired and passionate about their industry and craft, where you will find a “career” rather than just a “job”.

You will join a significant and sophisticated leading participant in Tasmania’s Premium Alcoholic Beverage Industry, a privately-owned enterprise that has grown from strength to strength and is amidst an exciting period of evolution and growth.

Reporting to the Production Manager, your primary role will be to operate the bottling lines with small to medium runs on lines that are adapted for a broad cross-section of premium beverages. A forklift licence and software user skills will be highly regarded.

From vineyard and orchard to the cellar door, this is an opportunity over time to immerse yourself in an industry and learn it in an award winning environment – but starting in Production Operations.

Do yourself a favour and test the water – clean, clear and pristine Tasmanian water!
