When Two Bays Brewing opens its doors, it will be both the latest brewery to join the Mornington Peninsula's bustling local beer scene as well as Australia's newest gluten free brewery. 

The operation is after a marketing coordinator to join the team so, if joining a new brewery sound like your dream job, then here's what you need to know.

Who Are We?

We are Two Bays Brewing Co. Our mission is to brew Australia’s best gluten free beer.

Richard Jeffares, Founder and CEO, was diagnosed as a coeliac in 2015 and has been searching for good quality, gluten free craft beer ever since. Struggling to find anything locally, he decided to go on a gluten free brewery ‘tour’ across the US where he found a really strong, vibrant and interesting craft beer scene. He decided straight away that he had to create a similar experience in Australia – a brewery that would make not only great craft beer using gluten free malts, but also a taproom where gluten free consumers can safely experience the wonderful world of craft beer. 

We’re building our brewery as we speak with recipes being tested and tasted. Our taproom will open later this year on the Mornington Peninsula, but we’ll have beers available before then – and that’s where you come in!

What Are We Looking For?

We’re a small team, so we’re looking for someone who can think strategically but doesn’t mind getting their hands dirty. You’ll be working alongside Richard to build the brand from the ground up. You’ll play a key role project managing our team of external experts and generally helping out as needed.

We’re looking for someone passionate about craft beer (doesn’t have to be gluten free) and excited to get into an early start up brewery.

What Will You Do?

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Executing the strategic marketing plan
  • Managing the marketing budget and forecast
  • Being the custodian of the brand and our story
  • Coordinating external resources to deliver projects
  • Running our digital marketing channels (social, email, blog and search)
  • Developing reports and managing inventory
  • Handling customer service and enquiries
  • Jumping in to help out when needed

We are happy to work flexibly with the right person (casual, permanent part-time, etc), but we expect we’ll need 2-3 days a week on average. Our intention is to build this into a fulltime role for 2019. Salary/rate is negotiable based on experience.

Our brewery will be based in Dromana (once it’s built) but you don’t have to be there every day – unless you already love the Peninsula!
