This is an exceptional opportunity for an experience and passionate Brewer to join the Bickford's team and make their mark in a progressive and successful South Australian Company.
ABOUT THE POSITION
Reporting to our Head Brewer and based at Salisbury South, Adelaide, the role is responsible for driving the ongoing development of the Bickford’s Group’s Beer portfolio. Our Senior Brewer is the 2IC for all brewing activities and works with key stakeholders to ensure activities are carried out in a way which optimises quality, efficiency and profitability according to the required style profile. The Senior Brewer is tasked with producing product to existing recipes and product specifications as well as having input into the refinement of existing and development of new beer recipes, product specifications and style guidelines.
Our ideal Brewer would have:
- Commercial Beer Brewing experience
- A robust understanding of brewing equipment and maintenance
- A high capability in all brewing processes and ability to brew a wide variety of styles
- A desire to share knowledge and develop the skills of the brewing team.
- An ability to manage competing priorities and to meet multiple deadlines
- Formal training and/qualifications in wine making, spirit distilling or brewing (preferred)
