James Halliday Article: Collaborations

This week sees the launch of the latest edition of the James Halliday Wine Companion Magazine in which there is an article on winemakers who brew by Crafty Pint founder James Smith. As such, we felt it was time to roll out another of the articles we wrote for the magazine last year.

Having tackled the rather large topic of craft beer’s rise in Australia for the launch edition, in the second edition we looked at the growing popularity of collaborations in the Aussie beer world, something that has come on in leaps and bounds even since then.

For the article, we spoke to Mikkel Borg Bjergsø¸, from Mikkeller (above left at the Gypsy & The Goat brew day feast), Kelly Ryan, then of NZ’s Epic Beer, Dave Bonighton, from Mountain Goat, and Sam Füss, now of the Old Salt Brewing Company, about the first Women of Beer brew.
