Brunswick’s brewery scene has gone from strength to strength in recent times and while some have sadly closed, new operations have taken their place. To celebrate that community, Bridge Road invited the suburb’s indie brewers to join them in Brunswick East for a collab brew. Somewhat inspired by the longstanding High Country Brewery Trail beer that’s made at a different brewery each year, the plan is for the collab to return to celebrate local beer and connect the area’s breweries.
To make Brunswick Block Party, Bridge Road were joined by CoConspirators, Foreigner Brewing, Gales, Rocky Ridge, Inner North and Subculture. Together, they created the kind of beer you’d expect seven brewers to come up with in a room, with the West Coast IPA a classic. So enjoy the taste of Brunswick and you’ll find plenty of pine, a floral and herbal tinge and some citrus alongside a gentle richness from the malt and lasting bitterness.
The beer officially launches at Bridge Road EBV on November 28 and will then pour at each of the breweries involved.
