The ‘tweener in the Endeavour range, the Growers Summer Ale is a halfway point for those that want a little more than the Lager but a little less than the Pale Ale. The beer is very pale courtesy of light malts – Vienna and Cara Pils plus a touch of raw wheat – and with a Vic Secret and Ella hop combo has a touch of resin, a bitterness that nibbles away gently and even a little spiciness leading into a dry finish.
