Well here’s a very Moon Dog release: an IPA in a can where if you peel the label, you can enjoy a magic eye. Whether or not Magic EyePA does form any image isn’t something I can answer and it's not for lack of trying either. Rather it seems I have the same relationship with them as Mr Pitt does.
On the other hand, my relationship with IPAs is a little better (well I know how to spot them anyway), so what I can say is there's a lot of hop notes leaping from the the clear, bitter and lightly golden IPA. With Citra, Eureka and Talus hops all at play, pine needles quickly come into focus before giving way to sherbet orange, grapefruit rind and some softer floral notes. In essence, you need not stare into Magic EyePA too for long to find what you're looking for if you love a West Coast IPA. If you'll excuse me, I do have a can I need to keep looking at.
