Banks Brewing Day Trip Pale Ale

When I tucked into this beer for the first time, I'd have sworn there were Mosaic hops in the mix: pour into glass, swirl, shove nose in and it's like dunking your head into a giant bag of Starburst. However, Banks have achieved such a candied fruit salad with Citra and Amarillo.

But whatever the means, all you need to know is you'll be welcomed by heaps of oily, juicy, tropical hops with a vibrant red berry streak shot through them. As with many of Banks' beers, a wisely-tuned pH and carbonation aids crispness.
