Fury & Son has a new beer coming for the latter part of winter. It's a red ale and they're unleashing it as part of a five course degustation at Cargo.

Each of the brewery's five beers – Pale, Pilsner, Scotch Ale, IPA and the newcomer – will be paired with a dish from the Docklands' venue's kitchen, with the brewery team on hand to talk about their beers and future plans.

The menu won't be revealed until the night but we can tell you a little about the Red Ale.

According to Fury & Son, it's "A classic American red ale, delivering strong citrus and pine needle aromas over a solid biscuity and caramel malt backbone. A full-bodied yet sessionable beer finished with a crisp dry bitterness."
