3 Ravens Brewery Bar is turning one and they're throwing a part to celebrate – a Viking party.

Festivities kickoff at 5pm and they're leaving little in the locker room.

There will be 11 taps and a hand pump pouring the brewery's greatest hits – plus six "Nevermore" one-off release kegs. This half dozen includes two variations of a never released imperial stout – one of them spiked with coffee roasted on site by Aviary Coffee – and three different versions of an experimental, wild rye levain sourdough ale brewed with locally foraged flora.

There will also be a 10L keg of The Golden Circle, a 7.5 percent ABV Fruitcup NEIPA brewed with Queensland's Brouhaha and featuring passionfruit, citrus and pineapple. If you'd like a taste of that you need to be among the first 50 to register here.

There will be tribal percussion and live bands playing through the nights plus a full smoked barbecue menu – albeit no sacrifices have been lined up this stage.

Everyone is invited to come dressed as a Viking. And, if you're a Crafty Cabal member, they've got something extra special lined up for you too…

Crafty Cabal Masterclasses

Before the Viking festivities kick-off, the Brewery Bar will be open to the public. It will also be open to our lovely Crafty Pint supporters, 24 of whom will be able to enjoy a masterclass with the 3 Ravens brewers at which they will get to take part in the brewing of the inaugural annual Birthday Barley Wine and enjoy a taste of all six of the "Nevermore" beers plus a five-year-old stock ale they use for blending.

The sessions are at 2pm and 4pm. Existing Cabalistas can register their interest via their members area now.
