In 2016, for their first anniversary, Block 'n Tackle brewed a whopping Russian Imperial Stout called Frost. Ahead of their second anniversary they've brewed it again and are now preparing to launch it amongst a celebration of dark beer.
On September 23 they'll be pouring five dark beers at the brewery, including a keg of each of the two vintages of Frost to date so you can do a vertical tasting – it'll be just $8 for a tipple of both.
As with last year, bottle #1 of this very limited edition will be auctioned off with all the proceeds going to the Central Coast Kids in Need charity. The rest of the (very limited number of) bottles will be available from midday for takeaway and cellaring – and at a wee discount too on the day.
NB: This was originally advertised as a ticketed event with matching food. Unfortunately the food part had to be cancelled, but fortunately the beer's still pouring and it's now free entry.
