Take a journey through the woodlands with a band of merry men (and women) as The Woodlands Hotel hosts its final Welcome to the Woods beer matching degustation of 2017.
The star guests come in the form of the Merri Mashers, the homebrew club from Melbourne's inner north that has given rise to a number of brewing companies.
Several of the alumni – specifically Co-Conspirators, Old Wives Ales and Two Cities – will have brewers/reps on hand, shifting chairs throughout the evening so you'll get a chance to chat with all of them.
While that's happening, you'll get to enjoy five beers, including Old Wives Ales' single keg blood orange saison Effotiè, matched with five courses of The Woodlands' award-winning food. Conceptually, the evening will be a celebration of all things north Melbourne in colour and flavour (and yes, that can in be vegetarian form).
