Of the many beer business to have opened in 2017, few have done so with as much fanfare as Wildflower. With its focus on the fruits of wild fermentation, the Marrickville brewer, blender and barrel ageing specialist has carved out a nice little niche in the Sydney scene.
In a rare southern sojourn, founder Topher Boehm will be heading to The Local Taphouse in St Kilda as guest as its monthly Ale Stars session, and he’ll be bringing four of his wild creations with him; the Table Beer (which is seldom available outside the cellar door), the flagship Gold blend, the Waratah collaboration made entirely of NSW ingredients and one more blend that’s yet to be revealed.
