With English heritage and being one of the very few Sydney breweries to permanently produce cask ale, there's always a bit of extra pride on show when the Flat Rock Brew Cafe puts on one of its popular days dedicated to real ale.
The next one is on December 9 when they'll be inviting their friends from Staves, Ekim and New England Brewing to each bring in a cask for a collective tapping. Those will be served alongside Flat Rock's own cask ales and a collaboration from their home brew club.
Casks will be tapped at midday and will be on the bar until they run out, so you're advised to get in early and/or book a table in advance.
