Triple Day of the Dead at Bitter Phew (NSW)

For its first event of the new year, Bitter Phew has called in New Zealand's Garage Project to help launch the bar into 2018.

The Darlinghurst venue will be pouring one of a very limited number of kegs of the brewery's Triple Day of the Dead, an Imperial Chilli Chocolate Black Lager aged in tequila barrels and loaded up with chipotle, cocoa nibs, agave and vanilla pods.

It's just a small keg too, which will be tapped at midday on January 13 so don't expect the beer to survive the weekend.

If that big barrel aged beer isn't enough to tempt you along then rest easy knowing Bitter Phew will also be pouring some other delights from brewery:

  • Garage Project (NZ) Triple Day of the Dead - 11.5 percent ABV
  • Garage Project (NZ) Party & Bullshit East Coast IPA - 6.2 percent ABV
  • Garage Project (NZ) Pernicious Weed IIPA - 8.0 percent ABV
  • Garage Project (NZ) Rhubarb Rhubarb Rhubarb Kettle Sour - 2.9 percent ABV
