Since launching, Collingwood's The Craft & Co, has been serious about helping consumers turn into producers.
Among the myriad masterclasses run by the venue, are the regular lessons on how to make beer, which are run by The Craft & Co's own brewers. Working in small groups, attendees get to determine the style of beer they want to make and then be guided through the process of creating a fresh wort recipe.
The Craft & Co, brewers will walk you through extract brewing, the selection of ingredients, the roles they play in different styles of beer and the equipment commonly used.
At the conclusion of the session, participants will have their own fresh wort to complete the brewing process at home and create their very own craft beer to share with friends and family. The event also includes beers from the brewery, plus house-made charcuterie and cheese.
