Considering the rapid spread of Pirate Life's beers across the country to the extent they took the fancy of the world's biggest brewing company, it's hard to believe the brewery is only three years old.
Yet, that's the case and The Local Taphouse is helping them celebrate that milestone by holding a third birthday party for the brewery. The hop obsessed operation has reciprocated by brewing three new IPAs for the occasion.
The Local has also managed to get hold of two collaboration beers from the brewery, one made with America's Stone Brewing and the other with Canada's Cirque Alfonse.
The beer specials hitting taps are:
- Strawberry Milkshake IPA
- Black IPA
- Unfazed by the Haze IPA
- Captain Nameless Rum Barrel Aged Baltic Coffee Porter - collaboration with Stone Brewing Co.
- Alfonse Ale - collaboration with Cirque Alfonse
It all kicks off at 5pm on March 16.
