When you're in the state that grows most of Australia's hops – hops that are in growing demand globally – why not celebrate the fact?
That's what the team at Saint John Craft Beer in Launceston has been doing in recent years. And, from April 20 to 22, 2018, they're doing it again.
More than 25 brewers from across Australia are brewing fresh hop beers created with hops rush delivered to them by Hop Products Australia to be launched over the weekend. They'll be around, mingling in the crowd and taking part in masterclasses and Q&As too, should you wish to bend their ear about their beer.
If last year is anything to go by, you can expect everything from sours to dark ales to double IPAs, plus amazing Tasmanian food stalls and cracking music from local musicians too.

Tickets cost $15 plus booking fee for Friday and Saturday, $10 for Sunday, or you can snap up a weekend pass for just $30.
