In March, as part of Brewsvegas, the Transcontinental Hotel, Mornington Peninsula Brewery and The Crafty Pint all banded together to hold Brisbane's Inaugural Brewniverse Pageant – an event seeking out the bold and brave new face of good beer.
Ultimately, Ben Costin was declared the Inaugural Brewniverse Champion and soon afterwards we featured him on our site as a Beer Nut.
Now, on May 25, the official crowning ceremony to celebrate Ben's victory will take place, with Mornington even putting together a beer in the winner's likeness.
On that evening, head to the Transcontinental to enjoy a "Ben Costin Lager" and see that crowning take place.
