Setting up and growing a brewery business requires significant investment. Australia's new equity crowd-funding regime has opened up an alternative source of funding for Australian brewers. Matt Vitale, co-founder and general counsel of Birchal will discuss some of the benefits and challenges of the new regime, and how Australian breweries can raise funds and build brands through equity crowdfunding. - 10am to 11am – Cryer Malt Brewery Startup Panel
Hosted by Crafty Pint founder James Smith, this is the first time the Cryer Malt Brewery Startup Panel has come to WA following three years at Good Beer Week in Melbourne (pictured) and its Sydney debut last year. Join the panel as they discuss a range of hot topics from the beer world today.

Perth Royal Beer Awards 2018
This year is set to see the Perth Royal Beer Awards expand in multiple directions. Judging will be followed by an awards night on July 13, as in previous years, but there are new elements too.
On the morning of July 14, following the Brewer's Conference there is a new beer festival taking place over two sessions at the Claremont Showground.
