WA's beer lovers have another beer festival to look forward to as the team behind the annual Perth Royal Beer Awards is launching their own this July.

UPDATE: This festival is now taking place over two sessions on the Saturday, with the proposed Sunday session no longer going ahead.

The festival takes place over two sessions on July 14, following on from the awards dinner on the evening of July 13. There's also a Brewer's Conference on the morning of July 14 – you can find out more and register for that free here.

The festival is set to feature more than 30 Aussie breweries (see below) as well as a Champions Bar serving up the gold medal winning beers from the 2018 awards. Attendees will be invited to vote for their favourite beer, with the winning brewery receiving $5,000 in cash.

Aside from the beer, there will be a Royal Cocktail Bar, bands and DJs, sideshow alley arcade games and other competitions and entertainment.

Serving up food to accompany the beers will be vendors including Harvey Beef Grill, Miss Chows, Smokin' BBQ Bus, Locale Kitchen and Food Graffiti.
