Wolf Of The Willows Brut IPA Launch At The Local Taphouse (VIC)

Still drinking New Englands? Move on, there's a new IPA in town.

Originating in San Francisco and quickly spreading across America, hop champagne is here.

Scott and the team from Wolf of the Willows, in collaboration with leading Australian podcast Ale of a Time, have created a new IPA that's designed to be pale, clear, highly carbonated and with a champagne like finish.

As well as being your first chance to taste one of the first examples of this new style in Australia, Wolf of the Willows is also hosting a huge tap takeover, featuring nine other beers including an exclusive taste of Imperial JSP on handpump, new winter seasonal The Woodsman Amber Ale and The Boy who Cried – a barrel fermented Brett Sour.

It's all happening at the Local Taphouse in St Kilda, with beers tapped from midday and both the Wolf and Ale of a Time teams hanging out from 7pm.

Here's our take on Southern Brut.
