Fancy enjoying six Brisbane beers† paired with local food?

Newstead has teamed up with the team at Four Points by Sheraton Brisbane to bring you what they are calling the beer degustation of all beer degustations.

Enjoy an expertly paired menu from Four Points' executive chef Ambrose Andrews and Newstead senior brewer Jarrett Bravo. Tickets cost $110 per person and the evening features an abundance of local produce and six Newstead brews.

How's this line up:

  • Lemon and prawn arancini paired with 3 Quarter Time Session Ale.
  • Grilled pork belly with sour Vietnamese slaw and pine nuts paired with The Mayne Thing Golden Ale.
  • Duck terrine with slow cooked tomato relish, pickles and focaccia bread paired with Two to the Valley IPA.
  • Palate cleanser of Johnno Apple Cider.
  • Slow cooked beef striploin with french lentil cassoulet, celeriac puree and sticky red wine jus paired with Liquidambar Amber Ale.
  • Baked cheese cake, sweet walnuts and candied ginger paired with A Long Story Bourbon Barrel Aged Wheat Strong Ale.
