If you're into beer, Belgium and bicycle racing, be at The Noble Hops this Saturday as they host their annual Belgian Beer Showcase in conjunction with the little European country's national day plus their neighbour's most famous annual sporting event: Le Tour.
They'll be tapping some rather tasty beers for the occasion, with the initial lineup as follows:
- Fantome – Dark White Saison
- Brouwerij Verhaeghe – Echt Kriekenbier
- Chimay – Blanche Tripel
- Karmaliet – Tripel
- Tilquin – Gueuze Lambic
- Boon – Oude Kriek Lambic
They'll be showing replays of the previous day's Tour De France action until about 8.30pm when live coverage of the Saint-Paul-Trois-Châteaux to Mende stage (a whopping great hill section) gets rolling.
So what better opportunity to make use of Redfern's multitude of cycle lanes and ample lamppost parking opportunities to enjoy an evening watching other people exert energy while you indulge in the good stuff?
